I've put together a table of 100 Insane Items in PDF form for any fantasy RPG. It's up to you to stat them out for your particular game system, but the next time you need a MacGuffin for your players to quest for, consider one of these.
From the smoking ruins of The Silent Sorcerer's tower, Skullsword sends forth nonsensical artwork and useless gaming tools.
